How often do you meet?
Our book club is a bit unique because while we meet each month, we don't require you to read a book each time!
Instead, we alternate between reading books/having a traditional meeting and hosting a book related activity.
Example:
One month, we will read two books and meet to discuss them!
The next month, we will do a book related craft!
What kind of get-togethers do you do?
Every other month, we jdo a fun get-tgoether rather than a traditional book club meeting.
We host everything from book-related movie nights to book bedazzling brunches!
What kind of books do you read?
Our community encourages diverse readers but we all unite under our love of romance!
Our current book picks include everything from rom-coms to romantic thrillers!
I don't feel like reading one of the book club picks. Can I skip it?
Yes! If you don't want to read the book club picks, feel free to skip them!
You're still more than welcome to join our meetups but keep in mind that we'll be dicussing them, so there will be spoilers!
Can my friend join?
Absolutely! We are always looking to add to our book babe community. To join our Facebook Members Group, simply incite them to the group or message us here and we will add them!
How much will it cost?
Membership is free!
On book months, you'll only be responsible for grabbing a copy of the bi-monthly book picks.
On activity/event months, we charge a nominal fee to cover costs.
Who runs the club?
Sweet & Spicy Book Club is run by Hampton Roads locals/besties Ashli, Alex, and Rachel!
We began our book club as little home meetups about three years ago and it's now growing into both a virtual & local community of spicy readers!
I don't live nearby. Can I still join?
Absolutely! We're quickly expanding into the virtual world! Keep an eye out for online book chats, live events, & more!
